Former Sons of Anarchy actor, Paul John Vasquez, has died of an apparent heart attack on Monday night, according to TMZ.
He was 48.
“This news has come as a surprise to us," a spokesperson for Paul said in a statement obtained by Fox News.
“Our hearts are heavy. He was a kind, creative and loving man. He will be missed.”
TMZ is reporting that Paul's father found him unconscious. Despite efforts by paramedics to revive him, he died at the scene.
The official cause of death has yet to be determined, but an investigation is underway to find out what really happened.
Vasquez is probably best known for his two-episode stint on FX's Sons of Anarchy which aired in 2011.
He played Angel Ganz.
Born and raised in San Jose, California, Vasquez also had small roles on NYPD Blue, CSI: NY, and How I Met Your Mother.
He was working on two short films before his shock death. According to IMDB, those were Thug Alley, and Spody Gets His Gunz.
He was set to star in both of the projects which he wrote.
Vasquez is the second Sons of Anarchy actor to die in recent months. It was previously reported in June that that Irish actor, Alan O'Neill passed away in June from alcohol intoxication.
We extend our thoughts and prayers to Paul's friends and family at this difficult time.
